Optimising the Depolymerisation of PET Fleece Microplastics Through Microwave Irradiation

چکیده

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) is one of the world’s most used plastics. Amenable to both mechanical and chemical recycling processes, PET also commonly recycled. Chemical processes include glycolysis, which produces bis(2-hydroxyethyl) (BHET); this then re-polymerised form new PET. One novel method for glycolysis involves microwave irradiation water bottles in presence a catalyst and, notably, absorber. The research presented here investigates optimisation fleeces. Samples were prepared using constant amounts solvent, fleece, conditions chosen be varied optimised loading, time, reaction temperature. Multiple variations these underwent course experimentation analysed through high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) determine their composition. samples that produced highest yield BHET determined optimal. These found loading 2 mg, an time 3 minutes, temperature 250°C. It has recently been observed substantial portion microplastic pollution bodies (which greatly impacts environment) can attributed fleece microfibres, are composed Through capture depolymerisation microfibres before release, could play important role reduction amount microfibre polluting oceans future.

APPLICATION OF MICROWAVE IRRADIATION TECHNIQUES FOR THE WITTING REACTION

The Wittig reaction rate can be dramatically enhanced by irradiation of the reaction mixture containing an aldehyde or ketone; methoxymethyl(triphenyl)phosphonium chloride, potassium t-butoxide, and t BuOH with a commercial microwave oven. Carbonyl compound are converted to Witting products within three min. in good yields.

the effect of functional/notional approach on the proficiency level of efl learners and its evaluation through functional test

in fact, this study focused on the following questions: 1. is there any difference between the effect of functional/notional approach and the structural approaches to language teaching on the proficiency test of efl learners? 2. can a rather innovative language test referred to as "functional test" ge devised so so to measure the proficiency test of efl learners, and thus be as much reliable an...

Efficient classical synthesis of aminoazines under microwave irradiation

In the present study, Aminoazines were prepared from the reaction of amidrazone hydroiodide with various aromatic aldehydes in the presence of a solid base under microwave irradiation with power level of 850 W for 2-7 min in high yields. The amidrazone hydroiodide can also be prepared by the reaction of S-methyl isothiobenzamide hydroiodide and hydrazine in methanol under nitrogen gas. All synt...
